Evaluate your neighbour’s work

A) Now look at your neighbour’s project, images, and test – and evaluate them.
Write a paragraph on each:
1) The overall project
2) The images they have made
3) The test itself

Now switch and your neighbour should evaluate your project.

B) Make sure you have completed the evaluation of ALL sections (See Below) including the paragraph on life and society (See Below).

C) Now put in the results of your test – how many people did you get to do it? What were their responses.

When you have finished submit your report to Students4teacher\R. Platt\tech92\zzzz_hoax_test_evaluation – make sure your name and the date are on it.

EVALUATIONĀ  – Hoax Test

The student evaluates the success of the product/solution in an objective manner based on the results of testing, and the views of the intended users. The student provides an evaluation of his or her own performance at each stage of the design cycle and suggests improvements. The student provides an appropriate evaluation of the impact of the product/solution on life, society and/or the environment.

Now write a detailed paragraph on each STAGE of the design cycle (INVESTIGATION/DESIGN/PLANNING/CREATION/and this EVALUATION).

How did you get on at each stage?
What was your performance like?
What was good?
What was not good?
What could be improved?

You will have to do the next part when you have results from your Hoax test.
You need to write about your Hoax Test and how successful it was.
Did at least 6 out of 10 people think your Hoax Picture was real?
Put your spreadsheet of results into your report.
Write about the results.

Finally write a paragraph about Life Society and the Environment.

Has your Hoax test had an effect on one or more of these?
(For example you could say that by Hoax testing people they will become more wary about taking things on face value from the internet and other visual sources. So you are doing society a service by Hoaxing people.)

Homework
Take your test electronically and test at least 10 people.
Record the results of all pictures (especially your hoax) in a spreadsheet.
Bring in your results spreadsheet next time.

When you have finished ALL your planning (CHECK BELOW)

Submit your report with your name and the date into Students4Teachers/R Platt/Tech/zzz_hoaz_test_planning

Write about the tasks you have put in the Gantt Chart in a paragraph underneath and the time it will take you to complete them.

List Hardware and software resources in TWO different TABLES

Write a paragraph on how you will have to MODIFY your DESIGNS to take into account the TIME required to do them (This is neededĀ for the RUBRIC)

ALSO – say why you think your plan is a good one (you have spent time thinking it up – you have carefully looked at the time involved etc)

RUBRIC – The student produces a plan that contains a number of detailed, logical steps which describe the use of resources and time. The student critically evaluates the plan and justifies any modifications to the design.

Make a GANTT Chart in EXCEL which shows Tasks against time – each grey box is a task completed – each column = 30 minutes
